Our first snowman!

We made our first snowman this year!  Gary couldn't believe I'd never made one before but when you grow up in Southern California there aren't many opportunities for that!

Marisa loved the snowman and kept hugging him.  Gary made his eyes out of coke cans, which I thought was really cute. 

I also discovered this year how much kids LOVE playing in snow.  We spent hours outside just walking around in it and shoveling it.  We also have a little hill at the park across the street so we took our sleds out there a couple of times.

I know its only December but I think I'm about done with snow for the year, if only the weather would listen to me!

My little mini me

So I was scanning some old slides this week and I saw this old picture of me.  I can't believe how much Megan looks like I did at that age!  She's my little mini me :)

The Tree is up!

I know we're way early, but we put our basement tree up last night.  Gary is making me wait to do the upstairs one until after Thanksgiving!  This year Marisa really got into the whole decorating it thing.  It was really fun to have her choose where each ornament would go.  Then when she went to bed we fixed it :)

 

Megan mostly just wanted to take the ornaments OFF the tree.

Megan is also our climber, and just had to climb the step stool with dad.

I've discovered it is really hard to take a picture of a Christmas tree with a crappy camera like we have.  (hint hint Santa...)

Halloween 2009

We had such a fun Halloween this year. Megan didn't really get it yet but she sure liked walking around carrying her pumpkin full of candy. Marisa loved dressing up as Minnie Mouse, it was a no brainer since she is obsessed with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Here are some pictures...

Ready to go trick or treating!

We went trick or treating at the South Towne Mall on Saturday where Gary works. I couldn't believe how many kids were there! My girls loved looking at all the kids in costumes. Since Gary was working I recruted my parents to come help me, thanks mom and dad!
