All dressed up

I just thought the girls looked cute all dressed up for church this week.  I can't believe how big they are getting!  Where did my babies go?

Princess and the Frog

 

Marisa and I went on a fun mommy daughter date to the movies.  (Megan hung out with Grandpa for a couple hours, thanks dad!)  She did really well at sitting in my lap with her Princess Tiana doll.  The only problem was that Tiana is a frog for most of the movie, and she didn't quite get that.  She kept asking me "Where did Tiana go?"

Our first snowman!

We made our first snowman this year!  Gary couldn't believe I'd never made one before but when you grow up in Southern California there aren't many opportunities for that!

Marisa loved the snowman and kept hugging him.  Gary made his eyes out of coke cans, which I thought was really cute. 

I also discovered this year how much kids LOVE playing in snow.  We spent hours outside just walking around in it and shoveling it.  We also have a little hill at the park across the street so we took our sleds out there a couple of times.

I know its only December but I think I'm about done with snow for the year, if only the weather would listen to me!

My little mini me

So I was scanning some old slides this week and I saw this old picture of me.  I can't believe how much Megan looks like I did at that age!  She's my little mini me :)
